Definitive Review The Book of Boba Fett

Posted by MewtwoPlay - February 3rd, 2022

I will tell you an anecdote, when I saw the trailer for The Book of Boba Fett I thought I was going to make a good series but with the first three episodes I saw I said, (this is not Star Wars) the story was weak, the characters looked flat without any attractive feature and not to mention the bikers in episode 3, damn it the colors of the bikes looked like the Power Rangers, it was disappointing, at that moment I stopped watching it, until episode 6 appeared, at first I didn't have it no faith, but reflecting a little I decided to give it a try, I saw a summary of episodes 4 and 5 and was ready to see the sixth and ... it was good

from the love bond between the Mandalorian and Grogu (baby yoda), the training with Luke Skywalker, to the appearance of Cad Bane. The only bad thing that I can criticize about episode 6 is 2 things, one that Luke Skywalker forces Grogu to decide between the Mandalorian's gift and the lightsaber, although it is assumed that there was already a Mandalorian Jedi and second, how is it possible that luke retrieve Master Yoda's saber knowing he lost it during Revenge of the Sith.

After having seen the last chapter I noticed that there were incredible moments, but that there were also some flaws in the story.

In this last chapter (which would be the seventh chapter) they try to connect the few plots they had, such as the alleged murderer who wanted to kill, the bounty hunters paid by the traffickers or the appearance of Cad Bane. There were some action scenes that were just to entertain the viewer, but apparently these scenes are overshadowed by the stupid things that Robert Rodriguez did when directing the episode itself.

Some good points that at least saved the episode is the return of the Mandalorian and Grogu (baby yoda).

One theory of mine that I want to give is about why history made Grogu choose the Mandalorian's gift and not Master Yoda's lightsaber, and I think that when he grows up he not only has the possibility of being a Mandalorian but also Possibly in the future we will see Grogu with the Mandalorian dark saber, but it does not matter because at the end of the day it is only a theory.

Now some bad and disappointing points for me: The first bad point is the death of Cad Bane, some moments that I liked in the fight of Cad Bane against Bobba Fett was the dialogues they had with each other and the occasional reference to Jango Fett, what was disappointing was that Cade Bane's death seemed a bit empty to me, and you ask me why I say this if Cade Bane was already old, maybe they are right about that but let's remember that in the Clone Wars series he continued old too and even so his skill with the gun was impressive, and the second thing I want to clarify is that when I saw the last chapter I kept seeing Bobba Fett in the background.

Although he left us some absurd and boring moments at the same time, he left us some moments that barely reflect the attachment and transformation that Bobba Fett had as a character.

The Book of Boba Fett was made as a series with little interest in its main character, its function was rather to be a bridge for other stories that the fandom cares about.

amazing! It is interesting to see that the beginning of a story is not always good, but it develops in a spectacular way

Thanks for your review and Good day ( ╹▽╹ )
